Mission Statement

The mission of the Lazar Middle School Library is to connect our students and teachers with the technology, resources, and books we need to stimulate learning. Our media center is a hub of collaboration that produces creative students. This allows them to research and think critically, appreciate literature, and become proficient learners in the 21st century.

Gingerbread Man in Disguise                       Contest

In December, students were invited to participate in a Gingerbread Man in Disguise Contest. They had to choose their favorite book character and decorate their gingerbread man as that character. Entries varied from Harry Potter, Katniss Everdeen, Willy Wonka, to Cinderella. Everyone had a great time admiring these creations!
